A NEW YEAR’S MESSAGE

PDFPrintE-mail

Tuesday, 29 December 2009 09:53

I am greeting this New Year with Openness to What May Come.

There are many possibilities and unknowns for all of us. My prayer is that we can receive what comes into our lives with a deeper sense of faith.

new year intentionsThis year, as every year, I will be sitting next to the fire on New Year’s Eve writing down my intentions for the months ahead, writing down all I plan to let go of and then surrendering into the flames.

I do this for myself and for everyone and I believe there is an unspoken strength that happens when I offer this. So I will keep you all in my thoughts and wish you a very healing and peaceful New Year; a new year full of possibilities and grace.

In the New Year

In 2010 we will be broadcasting a  number of online interactive performances and events through Live Streaming Video and Radio.

I will be co-hosting a Blog Talk Radio show along with Rick Allen called, “Resiliency Radio”. The show will be dedicated to discussing ‘Resiliency through Times of Crisis’ and will be focusing on the enormous challenges our Veterans and their families face.

We’ll be having some very special guests on the show who will be sharing their professional and personal knowledge of how to get through living with PTSD, Combat Stress and overcoming crisis.

Our listeners will be able to call in, ask questions and participate, an outreach that we feel very honored to be creating with Raven Drum Foundation.

New Music in 2010

We are currently working on a Raven Drum Circle CD, as well as another CD with the band and me.

Lots of creativity flowing and we are looking forward to sharing it with everyone!

Many Blessings to you All this New Year...

With Love,
Lauren

Rest easy, sleep well my brothers.

Know the line has held, your job is done.

Rest easy, sleep well.

Others have taken up where you fell, the line has held.

Peace, peace, and farewell...

You may be interested to know that these wreaths -- some 5,000 -- are donated by the Worcester Wreath Co. of Harrington, Maine. The owner, Merrill Worcester, not only provides the wreaths, but covers the trucking expense as well. He's done this since 1992. A wonderful guy. Also, most years, groups of Maine school kids combine an educational trip to DC with this event to help out. Making this even more remarkable is the fact that Harrington is in one of the poorest parts of the state.

Please share this. You hear too much about the bad things people do.  Everyone should hear about this.

A Winter Solstice Message~

To All my Family and Friends,

candle glowMy greatest wish is that we all feel the miraculous changes happening in our world.

May we feel them within our families and in our everyday lives so we may experience profound moments of clarity and hope.

May we all be blessed with inspired courage and our children be lifted up to dream and act with ferocious waves of kindness.

As we enter into the winter Solstice and celebrate our holy days of light and birth, let us all be in awe of the magnificent sounds of God ringing throughout the world.

May they change us and heal us so we can reach our fullest potential, so we may truly love without limits.
